An ION Retreat was held at Tianmu Lake in Jiangsu Province on August 16th and 17th. The meeting was chaired by our director, Prof. Mu-Ming Poo and attended by all ION faculties and some secretaries. During the meeting, ION members discussed goals and directions for future development of the institute and especially research areas for future expansion and scientific questions for focused collaborations in the coming ten years.
